Johnson recommends Viagra for microphone malfunction

Rep. Hank Johnson, (D-Ga.) jokngly recommended a popular treatment for erectile dysfunction be used to fix a floppy microphone stand during a House Judiciary Committee hearing Wednesday on live sports broadcast piracy.

Grappling with his mic stand, which fell to the left, then right, then left again Johnson remarked, "Maybe, with some Viagra we can get this microphone to stand up straight."

"You'd better hope that wasn't recorded," said an unidentified committee member, chuckling at the comment.
