Obama does a little redecorating in the Oval Office

By Kate Oczypok - 01/05/10 01:57 PM ET

After almost a year in office, President Barack Obama is finally giving the Oval Office his own personal touch. From eliminating decorative china plates for Native American pottery and adding a framed program from the 1963 march on Washington, Obama chose small changes rather than a lot of redecorating.

The AP reported that every president has made his own mark in the most famous office in America. Every change is watched for symbolism as well, even down to Obama’s change in pen holders.
