White House releases interactive Cabinet portrait with video clips
In anticipation of Wednesday's State of the Union address, the White House on Tuesday released a new online feature at whitehouse.gov called "The President's Cabinet Reporting to You," which features an interactive portrait of President Barack Obama's entire Cabinet.
Users are invited to scroll over the group photo and click on whichever Cabinet member they would like to see a video of. The clips range from less than 30 seconds to more than two minutes long, and while the monologues are pretty predictable, one bright spot comes from U.S. Department of Agriculture Sec. Tom Vilsack, who closes with a rhyme.
“That's why we're proud to be the every way, everyday, U.S.D.A.," he says cheerfully.
Also worth noting: Flanking Obama are Vice President Joe Biden and Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel, the only members of the Cabinet not to have taped videos.
