Biden: Sen. Murray 'makes you feel like she's your sister'

Vice President Joe Biden has three siblings, but sometimes Sen. Patty Murray (D-Wash.) makes him feel like he's got four.  

Speaking at a fundraiser for Murray in Seattle Friday morning, Biden said, “Patty has this dangerously disarming way of making you think that she is your sister and just looking out for your interest, but you come to think that your interest lies in Washington state. I don’t know how it happens, but it happens."

He praised the work of the number four Democratic senator on the economic stimulus bill last year, but reiterated how much he hated bailing out the big banks.

"[It was like] bailing out rattlesnakes, literally," he said, "In fact I like some of the snakes better." 

Biden and his wife Jill made the stop-over in Seattle on their way to Vancouver, British Columbia, where they will take part in the opening ceremony of the Olympic Winter Games tonight.
