Sen. Scott Brown's (R-Mass.) daughter Ayla is definitely single, but that doesn't she wants her dad telling millions of people about it.

The 21-year old former singing contestant on Fox's "American Idol" told Fox News Channel's Megyn Kelly Monday that her dad's election night blurt-out of "my daughters are available" was unexpected.

"Unfortunately it's true, so there's nothing I can deny about that," she said.

As for her father's well-documented photo spread in the pages of "Cosmopolitan" magazine many years ago, Brown reasoned that, "If I wanted to pose nude he can't say anything about it, so it's kind of like a two-way street." She called the photos "part of our family history now."

Asked about her dad's White House prospects, Brown said it had recently become a joke around the house after "he mentioned that a [GOP presidential] poll came out and that he was fourth.

"But he was like, ‘I don’t think it’s for me right now,’ we have to see how the next couple of years go first.”

Regardless of what the future holds for famous father, Brown said her immediate goal is to graduate from Boston College this spring.
