White House spokesman cuts press gaggle short for a parent teacher conference

For White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs, duty called on Tuesday.

Gibbs warned reporters that he would have to cut the off-camera press gaggle short that day. But it wasn't a top-secret West Wing meeting or a presidential arrival that took priority over the White House press corps.

It was his son Ethan's parent teacher conference.

"No offense to you guys, but gotta make sure the six-year-old's on track," Gibbs told the scribes.
