Jon Huntsman is father of the bride at National Cathedral

The Washington National Cathedral is the most prestigious place in the city to get married, and this past weekend, former Utah governor and Ambassador to China Jon Huntsman (R) was father of the bride.

Hunstman's daughter, Abigail Hunstman, 24, married Jeffrey Livingston, also 24 (shown here), at the historic cathedral on Saturday afternoon, according to their New York Times wedding announcement.

An Episcopal ceremony was performed by the dean of the cathedral, the Very Rev. Samuel T. Lloyd III. The Huntsmans are Mormon.

Abigail Huntsman is the second eldest of Mary and Jon Hunstman's seven children, and she works for the PR firm Burson Marsteller in New York. Livingston works for the consulting firm McKinsey & Company, out of their Florham Park, N.J., offices.

From 2004-2009, Jon Huntsman served as the governor of Utah. In July of 2009 President Obama appointed him Ambassador to China.
