Hollywood stars to join protesters in Wisconsin

Actors Bradley Whitford (The West Wing) and Gabrielle Carteris (Beverly Hills, 90210, The Event, My Alibi) will join protesters in Madison, Wisc., on Saturday, according to a statement from the Screen Actors Guild (SAG).

Whitford and Carteris are both members of SAG, the nation's largest actors union, and their appearance is intended to highlight SAG's solidarity with union members involved in an ongoing disupte with Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker (R).

For more than a week, union members in Wisconsin have staged rallies at the state capitol to protest a proposed law limiting the rights of public employees' to collectively bargain.
