Jennifer Garner might not have achieved the status of having her own table at the Monocle yet, but where Hollywood is concerned, the actress this week will cement her status as one of Capitol Hill’s “regulars.”
On Wednesday, Garner will pay a visit to the legislative branch for the fourth time in a little over two years, meeting with Sens. Barbara Mikulski (D-Md.) and Bob Casey Jr. (D-Pa.).
As in past visits, the mother of two with husband Ben Affleck will advocate for early childhood education.
She’ll also hold the obligatory press conference, this time at 11:45 a.m. in the Capitol Visitor Center.
But if history is any indication, Garner’s trip won’t be a simple fly-by presser. By now the actress knows her way around the Capitol, and she knows how to schedule a day’s worth of brief meetings.
Don’t be surprised if she pops by the offices of Sen. Dick Durbin (D-Ill.), Sen. Frank Lautenberg (D-N.J.) and Rep. Rosa DeLauro (D-Conn.).
