Jersey Shore cast gets to tan for tax cut

Everyone (or nearly everyone) knows the Jersey Shore kids love to fake bake. Now, they get to do it for a tax cut.

TPM is reporting a number of New Jersey lawmakers are angry the state awarded a $420,000 production tax credit to the hit-reality show starring Snooki. Taxpayers are paying the credit from the show's first season in 2009 (This was approved by the New Jersey's economic development authority).

State senators called on New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie (R) to veto the action but Christie cant because it's in compliance with non-discretionary existing law.
