The former speechwriter to President George W. Bush and founder of recently gave The Financial Times a peek into the restored D.C. cottage he shares with his wife, Danielle Crittenden. The article reveals that while much of the home was revamped, Frum and his wife chose to keep the high-gloss “oxblood” color of the pad’s dining room walls.

In a Wednesday statement, CNN announced that Democratic strategist Maria Cardona is also joining the network for the 2012 election season. Cardona was an adviser and spokeswoman for Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign. No word on the color of her dining room walls.
