Basketball star named Cultural Ambassador, towers over Hillary Clinton

altBasketball star Kareem Abdul-Jabbar stood feet above Secretary of State Hillary Clinton as he was named a global Cultural Ambassador on Wednesday.

While the website www.celebheights.com notes that Clinton stands at 5 ft. 6 inches, Abdul-Jabbar comes in at a towering 7 ft. 2. inches!

The State Department says the former Los Angeles Laker will head to Brazil next week for his first trip in his new role. 

Abdul-Jabbar was snapped posing for photos with Clinton while holding a copy of his upcoming children’s book on African-American inventors called What Color is My World?

The NBA’s All-Time Leading Scorer was honored at the White House by President Obama last June for his commitment to education and equality.
