Synagogue to feature the 'spiel stylings' of D.C. journos

altFans who are used to seeing “Nightline” correspondent John Donvan and NPR’s Robert Siegel and Nina Totenberg hitting the airwaves with the day’s news can catch them tackling an entirely different reading on Wednesday night: the Jewish scriptures.

The three journos are part of a “Get Ready for Purim” service at the Adas Israel Congregation in D.C.’s Cleveland Park.

Purim is a festive Jewish holiday that commemorates when Jews in Persia were saved from destruction by Queen Esther

The synagogue writes in a flier advertising the trio that the evening will feature “the spiel stylings” of Donvan, a former chief White House correspondent, along with Siegel and Totenberg.
