Michelle Obama stayed up well past her usual bedtime Saturday to check out Beyonce in concert.
The first lady told Barbara Walters and the hosts of “The View” on Monday that on most nights by “nine o’clock I’m barely hanging in there.” She added, “Malia’s now staying up later than me.”
But Obama, and daughters Malia, 13, and Sasha, 10, seemed to be hanging in just fine while singing and dancing along to some of Beyonce’s hits at her Memorial Day weekend concert in Atlantic City, N.J.
According to the New York Daily News, the White House residents were eyed doing dance moves to the chart topper’s popular songs “Irreplaceable” and “Single Ladies.”
While sitting in a box with “CBS This Morning” anchor Gayle King, the paper says the Obama clan was “mimicking the to-the-left finger gestures” that Beyonce made famous in a music video.
Obama's attendance at the concert caps off a recent love fest between the two headline-grabbers.
Last month, the 30-year-old entertainer penned an open letter praising Michelle Obama.
In an interview last week with People magazine, the commander-in-chief's wife said if she could be anyone else, she would be Beyonce.
