Jaclyn Smith wants Condoleezza Rice to be one of ‘Charlie’s Angels’

Farrah Fawcett, Cameron Diaz and Lucy Liu have all been a part of the classic crime-fighting trio, but now an original member of “Charlie’s Angels” is nominating a new member of the group.

When ITK asked Jaclyn Smith last week if there were any women in Washington who would make a good addition to the female private-eye squad, the actress replied after much thought, “Let’s put in Condoleezza Rice!”

While the former secretary of State is a classically trained pianist and a huge football fan, her butt-kicking skills à la the “Angels” are unknown.

When Mitt Romney’s wife, Ann, and first lady Michelle Obama were also mentioned as possibilities to say “Good morning, Charlie,” along with Rice, Smith laughed as she nodded: “Ann Romney and Michelle, they’re outstanding. Bring them all together! I think that’s what we need to do — nonpartisan.”

Smith, 66, said of the estrogen-filled group made famous on the '70s TV show, “What’s great about ‘Charlie’s Angel’s’ is that there’s somebody for everyone. So [many] types of personalities and looks.”
