Jay-Z: 99 problems but a Mitt ain't one

By Amie Parnes, Justin Sink and Jonathan Easley - 11/05/12 06:52 PM ET

Jay-Z has a new take on his popular song "99 Problems."

The rapper and producer changed up the racy lyrics, at least temporarily, on Monday to voice his support for President Obama while bashing Mitt Romney.

"I got 99 problems but a Mitt ain't one," Jay-Z sang at an Ohio rally for Obama on Monday, minutes before introducing the president, changing the "B" word in the original song lyrics to "Mitt."

When Obama took the stage, after performances from Jay-Z and Bruce Springsteen, the president said he and the A-lister — who is married to Beyoncé — have a few things in common.

"I told Jay-Z the other day, our lives are parallel a little bit," the president said. "Both of us have daughters and both of us have wives more popular than we are."
