Beyoncé’s ‘Take That Mitches’ photo disappears from singer’s online accounts

By Judy Kurtz - 11/07/12 02:27 PM ET

Pop superstar Beyoncé, who hasn’t been shy about her support for President Obama, posted a message on her Tumblr, Facebook and Instagram accounts that poked fun at GOP candidate Mitt Romney’s loss in the presidential election.

A photo of a handwritten note that reads, “Take That Mitches” appeared on the “Love on Top” singer’s accounts on Tuesday night. The phrase is a play on a PG-13-rated taunt that includes the “b” word.

While Beyoncé has posted several pro-Obama photos and messages online in the past, including open letters to the president and first lady as well as images of her posing in Obama earrings, the anti-Romney message appears to be a first for the entertainer.

By Wednesday afternoon, the photo had disappeared from the accounts, but Google links captured the original posts.
