The McCains' election-night tradition: Movies and Mexican food

By Judy Kurtz - 11/08/12 11:18 AM ET

Meghan McCain says on election nights, her family can rely on one tradition: Mexican food and movies.

The MSNBC contributor and daughter of Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) told Anderson Cooper on Wednesday’s “Anderson Live” that a Mexican feast and flick is a key part of the festivities when the lawmaker’s up for reelection.

That’s a whole lots of enchiladas, considering her dad has served in Congress for more than 25 years.

McCain, 28, also revealed that the movie of choice for her parents is the 1982 Arnold Schwarzenegger vehicle “Conan the Barbarian.”
