Rubio to help Iowa governor blow out his birthday candles

It’s Iowa Gov. Terry Branstad’s (R) party, but he’ll let Sen. Marco Rubio be the star, if he wants to.
The Florida Republican will “headline” Branstad’s birthday fundraiser next Saturday in Iowa, according to a Twitter message posted Thursday by Rubio’s press secretary, Alex Conant. Branstad is turning 66 that day.
While ITK doesn’t expect Rubio to be popping out of any birthday cakes, the move could be a sign that the junior senator is interested in making a presidential bid. Iowa's caucuses traditionally start off the presidential primary season.
