The wife of former House Speaker Newt Gingrich (R-Ga.) — whose platinum-colored locks drew lots of attention during her husband’s unsuccessful bid for the GOP presidential nomination this year — revealed to Barbara Walters on ABC’s “The View” on Monday, “I’m blessed to have a very good hairdresser.”

Newt Gingrich even gave the woman who tends to his mate’s locks a shout-out, pointing to the audience and saying, “Tatiana, her hairdresser, is sitting right there.” For the record, Tatiana’s follicle fashion was strikingly different from the political spouse she styles, as the brunette was seen sporting bangs and a loosely tied ponytail atop her head.

Although it might seem a Herculean hair effort to never have a single strand amiss, Gingrich contends her side-parted hairdo’s upkeep isn’t too tricky, saying, “I like the clean and classic style. And this is just easy for me to maintain.”
