Obama campaign manager's next move: 'Become an expert in red wine'
Jim Messina is saying “ciao” to Washington for a little while.
President Obama’s reelection campaign manager reveals he’s trading politics for pinot, at least temporarily, as he heads on an overseas trip.
When asked what’s next for him, Messina told journos Tuesday, “I am going to go to Italy,” according to the White House press pool report.
The political guru even has a plan for while he’s there, saying he’s going to “figure out how to become an expert in red wine for a couple weeks.”
