Drake calls out Obama in 'Summer Sixteen'

“To do what you couldn’t do, Tell Obama that my verses are just like the whips that he in, They bulletproof,” Drake says in the first verse of the track, comparing his verses to the president’s armored car. 

Obama gave Drake the cold shoulder in early January when he picked Kendrick Lamar to win a hypothetical rap battle. 

“Gotta go with Kendrick,” Obama told YouTube star Swoozie. “I think Drake in an outstanding entertainer. But Kendrick, his lyrics — his last album was outstanding. Best album, I think, last year.” 

Obama also recently met with Lamar in the Oval Office.
