Football rivalry creates bedlam among Senate staffers

Red and blue state rivalries have nothing on the crimson and orange showdown going on in the office of Sen. Jim Inhofe.

The Oklahoma Republican’s staff suited up Wednesday in their team colors of choice ahead of the annual Thanksgiving weekend tradition in The Sooner State — Bedlam football.

The Bedlam Series is the in-state matchup between the University of Oklahoma Sooners (those would be the crimson clad fans) and the Oklahoma State University Cowboys (the ones donning the orange getups).

We got our hands on a snapshot of the Inhofe crew playing nice ...

And another one in which the dueling loyalties are far more evident, as staffers playfully wallop one another.

The football game is scheduled for Saturday.
