Neil Patrick Harris tapped to host National Christmas Tree Lighting

Add the National Christmas Tree Lighting to Neil Patrick Harris’ endless resume of hosting duties.
The “How I Met Your Mother” star — who has emceed countless awards shows, including the Tony, Emmy, and even the World Magic Awards — will help kick off the holiday season in Washington at the 90th annual tree lighting on Dec. 6.
James Taylor, The Fray, Jason Mraz, Colbie Caillat, Kenny “Babyface” Edmonds, and “Modern Family” actor Rico Rodriguez will also make appearances at the ceremony, according to a press release from the National Park Service and the National Park Foundation.
