Hoyer quipped that Sarbanes, who wasn’t there that night, recently joked that the audience members sitting in the back of the venue wouldn’t be able to hear him. But, Hoyer cracked, that wouldn’t be a problem since they were likely strategically sitting far away from the podium anyway so they wouldn’t have to listen to him speak.
