Rep. John Lewis's wife passes away

Lillian Lewis, the wife of Rep. John Lewis (D-Ga.), has died.
In a Monday afternoon statement, the 72-year-old congressman’s office said, “This morning, Mrs. Lillian Miles Lewis, the devoted wife of U.S. Representative John Lewis, died in Atlanta, Georgia.”
The couple had been married more than 40 years and has a son, John Miles.
Lewis’s office has not yet released information on funeral arrangements.
