Ex-Rep. Jesse Jackson Jr. eyed at famed D.C. eatery

SPOTTED: Former Rep. Jesse Jackson Jr. (D-Ill.) getting a late-night bite Thursday at Ben’s Chili Bowl. 

The ex-congressman, who cited physical and mental issues last year when he resigned from Congress amid an investigation by the House Ethics Committee, was eyed with a group in a back room of the U Street spot. The eatery is considered an institution in Washington. 

An ITK spy could hear lots of laughs and applause coming from the room where Jackson was situated. 

No word if he indulged on any of the famed half-smokes or chili dogs.
