In an interview this week on ABC’s “Live with Michael and Kelly,” Handler discussed how she feared the prospect of a Trump presidency.

“I don’t think he thought it was gonna go this far,” she said of Trump’s candidacy. “Like I don’t think he was ready to really take the job. He just loves attention and he likes to talk about himself.

“He can’t possibly really be trying to get elected to become president,” she added. “That doesn’t make any sense — after Barack ObamaBarack Hussein ObamaJudge orders Walker to hold special elections Mueller investigates, Peters quits Fox, White House leaks abound 2020 Dems compete for top campaign operatives MORE, I mean I’ll just blow my head up.”

The comedian insisted that she did have a back-up plan in case Trump prevails in the general election.

“I did buy a house in another country just in case. So all these people that threaten to leave the country and then don’t — I actually will leave that country.”
