Michelle Obama, Valerie Jarrett dine at downtown eatery

SPOTTED: Michelle Obama and Valerie Jarrett having a girls’ night out on Thursday. The first lady and President Obama’s senior adviser were eyed heading to a private room at BLT Steak in downtown Washington.

Our spy saw the duo accompanied by a party of about a dozen other people. The pair stayed for a little more than two hours.

Obama is a frequent diner at the I Street hot spot. She shared a birthday meal with the president at the eatery, which is just blocks from the White House, last year.

Also spotted at a separate table at the dining destination: Doug Heye, spokesman for House Majority Leader Eric Cantor (R-Va.).
