Senator joins forces with Cartoon Network to stop bullying

Sen. Bob Casey is getting pretty animated in the battle to stop bullying.

The Pennsylvania Democrat is teaming up with the Cartoon Network this week to launch a flag-raising campaign to push for bullying prevention in schools across the country.

Cast members (presumably who are non-animated) from Cartoon Network’s live-action series, “Level Up,” will join Casey at a Philadelphia school Wednesday to launch the initiative.

A press release from the television network says Casey plans to re-introduce federal legislation to combat bullying. ITK tried to ask Casey if he’s a fan of the channel devoted to all things cartoon, but his office couldn’t reach the traveling lawmaker before deadline.
