Michelle Obama wears Jason Wu to State of the Union address

By Emily Goodin - 02/13/13 12:26 AM ET

Michelle Obama wore a black-and-cranberry Jason Wu dress to the State of the Union speech on Tuesday night.

It is the second time in less than a month that the first lady donned an outfit by the young designer. She wore a vivid, red ballgown designed by Wu to the inaugural balls in January.

Her dress to her husband's annual address to then nation was a sleeveless, tweed sheath dress that she accented with a silver, cherry blossom broach.

The fashion blog, Mrs. O, reported and tweeted the news, which Wu's official account retweeted.

Obama first brought national attention to Wu in 2009, when she wore a white, one-shoulder dress by him to President Obama's first inaugural ball.
