Scott Brown signs with Fox News
Former Sen. Scott Brown (R-Mass.) has officially signed on as a contributor to Fox News, the cable channel announced Wednesday.
Brown will make his debut in his new role Wednesday's evening on "Hannity." He will provide political commentary for the network, Fox said.
There were reports earlier this month he was in talks with Fox, which recently cut its ties with one of its most well-known commentators, former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin.
The former senator is considered a rising star in the Republican Party, despite his short tenure in the Senate. He won a 2010 special election to fill the seat of the late-Sen. Ted Kennedy (D-Mass.) and then was defeated by Democrat Elizabeth Warren when he ran for re-election last year.
He announced earlier this month he would not run in the special election for now-Secretary of State John Kerry's Senate seat.
Brown has also joined the board of directors of Kadant paper company.
