Boehner blows Valentine's Day kiss to his wife — and Luke Russert
Ever the romantic, Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio) gave reporters a visual preview of the Valentine’s Day gift he has planned for his wife.
Asked at the end of his Thursday press conference by MSNBC’s Luke Russert what he had planned, Boehner turned back to reporters, puckered his lips and blew a few loud kisses.
“Same thing I got you, honey!” he then cracked to Russert, a reporter he calls “loudmouth.”
It was the second time this week that the randy Speaker pushed the bounds of decorum. On Tuesday, he responded to a television reporter’s question about whether he backed a path to citizenship for illegal immigrants by saying, “Slow down. How about a little foreplay?”
