Rep. Tom Price: 'I'm proud to be a Taylor Swift fan!'
Count Rep. Tom Price among Taylor Swift’s devoted fans.
The Georgia Republican revealed on Twitter Friday that he’s seen the country pop sensation in concert “3 or 4 times so far.”
At a National Review event earlier that day, Price sheepishly admitted his taste for the “We are Never Ever Getting Back Together” singer’s tunes.
“I’m a big Taylor Swift fan,” he said, according to BuzzFeed. A laughing Price then added, “Don’t tell anybody.”
He later clarified in a tweet that he regretted implying the news was a secret, writing, "I'm proud to be a [Taylor Swift] fan!"
The lawmaker also weighed in on the 23-year-old entertainer’s dating habits, including Swift’s recent fling with Conor Kennedy, a member of the famed political dynasty: "I prayed when she started dating a Kennedy that that would end."
