Tiger Woods on golfing with Obama: 'He's got amazing touch'
Tiger Woods is praising President Obama’s golf game, saying the commander in chief has “got an amazing touch” and “can certainly chip and putt” when he faced off against the sports star during a friendly competition.
Woods hit the links with Obama Sunday as the president spent the holiday weekend in Florida.
Speaking Tuesday at the World Golf Championships-Accenture Match Play Championship, the 37-year-old golfing pro reflected on his 18-hole outing with Obama.
“He's a pretty good athlete, and we all know he played a lot of hoops. He's a lefty, he hit it well, and we didn't play under the easiest conditions,” USA Today writes Woods told reporters.
Calling it “pretty cool” to play with the West Wing resident, Woods said of Obama, “He’s just a wonderful person to be around. ... He’s quick.”
