Professor Gingrich? Ex-House Speaker to teach course on George Washington
Newt Gingrich is putting on his teaching cap and celebrating the first American president’s birthday with a course on George Washington.
The former GOP presidential candidate and House Speaker — who was an assistant history professor at West Georgia College before being elected to Congress in 1978 — will teach a lesson called “George Washington: The Indispensable American” at the commander in chief’s Virginia estate, Mount Vernon.
A description of the lesson says Gingrich will also take questions from the live and online audiences.
