One Direction, Mumford and Sons make McCaskill Spotify list
From “Kiss You” by One Direction, to Sugarland’s “Stuck Like Glue,” Sen. Claire McCaskill is dubbing her first Spotify list as “being all over the place.”
The Missouri Democrat released her “Seriously Good Mood” list on the music streaming service over the weekend.
McCaskill said of the collection of tunes, “The only thing that all of these songs have in common is that they all warm my mood, and make me smile. And at the end of the day, that's one of the things that make music an important part of my life.”Some of the lawmaker’s other fave picks include: “Fly Me to the Moon” by Frank Sinatra, “Ho Hey” by The Lumineers, “We Are Young” by fun and Jenelle Monae, Johnny Cash’s “It Ain’t Me Babe,” and two tracks from Mumford and Sons and The Temptations.
Saying she has “eclectic taste in music,” the senator wrote in a Friday Facebook post, “I strive to keep an open mind on all things in my life. My children have really helped with that. I've tried hard not to say ‘would you please turn that down!’ too often.”
