Harrison Ford to talk aviation on Capitol Hill
Actor Harrison Ford will be in the nation’s capital Tuesday to meet with lawmakers as he heads to Washington to talk aviation issues.
ITK hears the film star, a longtime pilot, will be featured in a discussion at the Longworth House Office Building on Tuesday afternoon with House General Aviation Caucus co-chairmen Reps. Sam Graves (R-Mo.) and John Barrow (D-Ga.).
The event is being hosted by a number of aviation groups, including the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association, the National Air Transportation Association and others.
It’s not the first time Ford, 70, has landed in Capitol Hill. The entertainer joined a meeting of the Senate General Aviation Caucus in 2011.
