The president — a diehard b-ball fan who is known to play pickup games with NBA players and staffers — tried his hand at some free-throws at the 135th annual Easter tradition.

Surrounded by kids and some members of the Washington Wizards NBA team, Obama’s shots continued to miss and bounce off the rim, according to a White House press pool report.

After landing just two shots, Obama finally handed a ball to a young boy and asked for some hoops help. The boy successfully made the layup.

Kahron Campbell, 10, explained, “He couldn’t make one. I had to help him out.”
