Christie greeted Prince Harry by giving him a fleece, which resembled the one the governor worn repeatedly in the weeks after the storm. Christie later wrote on his Twitter account that he greeted the prince “the best way I know how; with his own Royal Fleece.”

When Prince Harry's tour was announced Christie joked that unlike the prince's last trip to the United States, where he made headlines for nude photos taken surreptitiously in Las Vegas, there would be no similar problems.

“Believe me, nobody’s going to get naked if I’m spending the entire day with Prince Harry,” Christie said in a radio interview in March.

No word on if the fleece was part of that plan.

Prince Harry is finishing up a weeklong tour to the United States. During his stop in New Jersey, he talked with families affected by storms and played boardwalk games, according to media reports.

The prince then headed to New York City where he met with Prime Minister David Cameron, who is on his own goodwill tour of the States to promote British businesses. Then Prince Harry went to baseball practice with children as part of a charity event.

Last week, Prince Harry was in Washington, where he visited Capitol Hill to tour an exhibit on clearing landmines. He also attended a tea at the White House for military mothers, laid wreathes at Arlington National Cemetery and visited wounded service members at Walter Reed National Medical Center.

On Wednesday, the last day of his trip, the prince will play in a charity polo tournament in Connecticut.
