Maloney's appearance reportedly began as a joke between her and Sharon Patrick, the president of the American Ballet Theatre, according to the New York Daily News.
"It's not much of a role. I'll be playing dead," Maloney told the New York newspaper. "It's going to be fun."
When she was a teenager, Maloney dreamed of becoming a professional ballerina. But at 17, she was hit by a drunk driver and was hospitalized. Now, Maloney says she's "lucky to walk."
"But that was the end of my dancing career," Maloney said.
