The Golden Globe-winning actress has been an outspoken critic of Trump, writing in a 2015 open letter to the real estate mogul, “You, Mr. Trump, are living in an outdated fantasy of a bigoted America.”
The position with the Women’s March is “something she’s arranged on her own,” Ferrera’s representative told BuzzFeed.
The Jan. 21 Women’s March is expected to be among the biggest demonstrations related to Trump’s inauguration. A website for the event says its mission is to “send a bold message to our new government on their first day in office, and to the world that women’s rights are human rights.”
