Streisand tweeted Saturday evening that she eats pancakes “smothered in maple syrup” after reading Trump-related news in the morning.

Streisand’s tweets over the weekend followed President Trump's unsubstantiated claims that President Obama wiretapped phones at Trump Tower during the 2016 campaign.

Press secretary Sean Spicer tweeted Sunday that the White House was demanding congressional investigations into Russia’s involvement with the presidential election, including Trump’s claims of wire tapping.

House Intelligence Committee Chairman Devin Nunes (R-Calif.) said in a statement later that his committee would investigate potential surveillance into political parties and campaigns during the election.
