Chelsea Handler says she once rejected Ivanka Trump straight to the first daughter’s face, only to be met with a shrug.

Both Ivanka Trump, who serves as an adviser to her father at the White House, and Handler, an outspoken critic of President Trump, were among the speakers last October at Fortune magazine’s Most Powerful Women Summit in California.

Sipping a vodka with lime, the “Are You There, Vodka? When ITK asked what she’d say to critics who are sick of celebrities spouting off about politics, Handler replied that she started “from nothing.” Recalling waiting tables for seven years, Handler exclaimed, “I’m not allowed to have an opinion?!”
