MORE once used a unique pick-up line to ask her out on a date, boasting that he was “America’s richest man.”

The star of “The Blue Lagoon” and “Suddenly Susan” disclosed the dating attempt by the future president during a Tuesday night interview with Andy Cohen on Bravo’s “Watch What Happens Live.”

“He called me. I was on location doing a movie and he called me right after he had gotten a divorce,” Shields, 52, said.

“And he said, ‘I really think we should date because you’re America’s sweetheart and I’m America’s richest man, and the people would love it,” Shields said between laughs.

The performer said the phone call happened shortly after the New York real estate mogul divorced his second wife, Marla Maples, in 1999.

But a love connection between Shields and the current commander in chief apparently wasn’t meant to be.

Shields says she told Trump, “I have a boyfriend. I really don’t think it would be — he’s not gonna really be happy about it.”
