The Washington Post reported Thursday that Trump had referred to Haiti, El Salvador and African nations as "shithole countries" during a meeting with lawmakers on immigration at the White House.

The White House didn't deny the comments, but Trump pushed back against the report in a tweet early Friday saying the "meeting was tough, but that was not the language used."
