Giuliani told HuffPost on Friday that Biden is “a moron," claiming he finished last in his class at the Syracuse University College of Law.

“I’m calling Joe Biden a mentally deficient idiot,” Giuliani said.

“I am disgusted by Giuliani’s abhorrent and idiotic comments about Joe Biden,” McCain tweeted

Giuliani also fielded questions on whether Biden will run for president in 2020.

Biden, 75, is too old, Giuliani remarked.

“He’s also too old. He’s four years older than Trump,” Giuliani said. Trump turned 72 on Thursday.

Giuliani told HuffPost that a Biden candidacy would not threaten Trump’s chances of reelection.

“They need someone new, who would be more threatening to us,” Giuliani said of Democrats. “They’ve got to hit us with a surprise.”

An aide to Biden declined to comment to HuffPost about Giuliani’s attack.

Biden has been friends with John McCain for 40 years, and the families have spoken about their bond before.

The Senate Armed Services Committee chairman was diagnosed last year with the same cancer that killed Biden’s son, Beau Biden, in 2015.

During an episode of “The View” in December, Biden comforted Meghan McCain over the diagnosis.

“One of the things that gave Beau courage ... was John,” Biden told her. “Your dad took care of my Beau ... became friends with Beau. Beau talked about your dad’s courage. Not about illness, but about his courage."

Biden visited the senator in Arizona while he was recovering from surgery last month.
