Hochul served in the House for two years representing New York's 26th congressional district. She was elected through a special election after former Rep. Chris Lee (R-N.Y.) resigned.
Former Rep. Hochul joins M&T Bank
Hochul, who lost reelection in November 2012, will serve as a representative for the bank with government officials on the local, state and federal level.
