Obama to sign health "fix" bill into law Tuesday

President Obama is expected to sign the health reform "fix" bill into law on Tuesday. 

The legislation places a 3.8 percent tax on investments of wealthier taxpayers. 

Efforts to reverse this provision are already underway.

Lobbyists took note during the Senate debate on the bill that 6 Democrats supported an amendment by Sen. John Cornyn (R-Texas) to strike the tax from the bill. They plan to speak with these lawmakers about repealing the tax.
