The former legislative director for a top-ranking Republican in the House is taking her expertise to K Street.

Kimberly Ellis will join Monument Policy Group on Feb. 1. She recently worked for Rep. Kevin Brady (R-Texas), a deputy GOP whip in the House.

Kimberly has worked at a high-level at the intersection of economic policy and politics,” firm partner and founder C. Stewart Verdery Jr. said in a news release. “Our diverse set of clients is looking for insight on tax and policy matters affecting their bottom line, and Kimberlys expertise will be invaluable to those companies and associations.”

Ellis previously worked for the Office of the U.S. Trade Representative as confidential assistant and for then- U.S. Trade Representative Robert Zoellick as deputy executive secretary.
